Step 1: Initial Assessment and Preparation

We will examine your oral health during the first visit. We may start this process by using dental X-rays for clear internal images.

Step 2: Tooth Preparation and Impression

Reshaping the tooth often requires filing it down or building it up if it’s severely damaged. We will then make an impression of the tooth and the surrounding area.

Step 3: Temporary Crown Placement

While the final dental crown is being made, we will place a temporary crown to protect the reshaped tooth and ensure you have a more normal-looking smile in the meantime.

Step 4: Permanent Crown Placement

On your next visit, our dentist will remove the temporary crown and carefully place the permanent one. We’ll permanently cement the crown after ensuring the fit and color match your natural teeth.
